...UNSEASONABLY HOT AND DRY WEATHER EXPECTED NEXT WEEK...
A DEVELOPING STRONG HIGH PRESSURE AREA ALOFT THIS WEEKEND WILL
RESULT IN CLEARING SKIES AND RAPIDLY WARMING TEMPERATURES...BEGINNING SUNDAY OVER THE SOUTHERN PANHANDLE AND REACHING THE NORTHERN AND CENTRAL PANHANDLE BY TUESDAY. DAYTIME HIGH TEMPERATURES ARE LIKELY TO BE 15 TO 25 DEGREES ABOVE AVERAGE ESPECIALLY OVER THE INNER CHANNELS BY WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY...WITH MOST INNER CHANNEL AREAS REACHING THE 80S. SOME AREAS MAY GET TO OR EXCEED 90 DEGREES...WITH THE HYDER AREA THE MOST LIKELY PLACE FOR THAT TO OCCUR.
THE WELL ABOVE AVERAGE TEMPERATURES WILL CAUSE INCREASED GLACIER
MELT AND THIS WILL CAUSE RIVERS AND STREAMS WITH GLACIAL RUNOFF TO RISE SLOWLY NEXT WEEK. FIRE DANGER WILL INCREASE ALSO DUE TO THE HOT AND DRY CONDITIONS

Love it!! I remember my first summer in Skagway it was soooo warm and sunny all summer... it was wonderful! I was just looking through your posts and I saw the one where you feel guilty about throwing out the drawings. Here is a suggestion and it is what i do because I too feel guilty about tossing them. I keep them all and when i get about 50 or so i will bind them and keep them as a book. Just an idea and it doesn't cost much!!
Wow Alisa! That sounds fierce! I would be very AFRAID!
Actually I know you will take full advantage of it and enjoy every minute! I am glad things are going well up in your neck of the woods!
Watch out! You wouldn't want to get a tan or anything!
I love that 80-90 degree weather warrants a warning! Enjoy the warmth!
Welcome to summer for the rest of us! (Actually that's not true-- it hit 100 degrees here this week.)
